Bar Association Group Life Investment Policy

Periodically, the Association receives requests for information about the Bar Association Group Life Insurance Investment Policy.  Although enrollment is no longer available, there may be people who are covered by policies issued in the 1950s.

The policy was established in 1950, endorsed by the "Roanoke Signatory Bar Association," and was underwritten by Northwestern National Life Insurance Company.  The original trustee was Richard Viar; the current trustee is Philip Coulter.  The policy administrator is The Patrick Company.  The Roanoke Bar Association does not maintain any records or have any information about these policies.  Below is contact information if should you have questions concerning a policy:
