Two awards will be presented at this year's Gala:
The fifth annual Frank W. "Bo" Rogers, Jr., Lifetime Achievement Award honors an outstanding lawyer who embodies the highest tradition of personal and professional excellence in Southwest Virginia and, in doing so, enhances the image and esteem of attorneys in the region. This year's recipient is William R. Rakes, a partner at Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore, LLP.
The fifth annual Young Lawyer of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding young lawyer who has demonstrated dedicated service to the Roanoke Bar Association, the community and the profession. This year's recipient is Leah S. Gissy, an asociate at LeClairRyan.
