On Monday evening, December 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm, the Roanoke Bar Association Foundation, the Science Museum of Western Virginia, and the History Museum of Virginia are proud to sponsor the fifth annual Santa in the Square.  Santa in the Square is a holiday party for children and their parents who are living in shelters in our area during the holiday season.  For this special event, the children and their parents will be picked up and transported to Center in the Square where they will experience an amazing holiday party.  The kids will enjoy unlimited use of the Science Museum and the History Museum as well as entertainment by face painters.  They will be treated to their favorite party foods, including pizza, chicken nuggets, and cakes, and have their photos taken with Santa Claus.  They can visit Santa's Workshop where they can create holiday arts and crafts, and Santa's Sack where they can select a small, special gift to wrap and give to their parents this holiday season.  It promises to be a truly magical evening and we thank all of our sponosor and volunteers for making it so.
